10 Safe work practices The person conducting a business or undertaking must ensure the safety of all persons while electrical work is performed at the workplace by: (a) providing suitable protection to workers from any adjacent live electrical conductors or adjacent live parts of electrical equipment; and (b) ensuring workers use insulated tools and equipment when appropriate; and (c) ensuring workers use equipment and plant designed and made in accordance with recognised electricity industry practice; and (d) implementing safe work practices.
