sec.329 Existing cancellation processes

This section applies if— before the commencement, the regulator gave a person a notice (a cancellation notice ) under a former section mentioned in column 1 of the following table; and immediately before the commencement, the regulator had not decided whether to cancel the registration or certificate that was the subject of the cancellation notice. The cancellation notice— is taken to have been given under the new section mentioned in column 2 of the table opposite the former section; and must be decided under the new section mentioned in column 3 of the table opposite the former section. The new section mentioned in column 3 of the table applies to the decision to cancel, or not to cancel, the registration or certificate. Anything done in relation to the proposed cancellation under the expired regulation is taken to have been done in relation to the proposed cancellation under this regulation.
