sec.182 Operation of trade contractor’s licence

This section applies to a person conducting a business or undertaking that includes the performance of electrical work, other than electrical installation work. The person is taken to be the holder of an electrical contractor licence to the extent that performance of the electrical work is a necessary part of, or is incidental to, the performance of work under a trade contractor’s licence. In this section— trade contractor’s licence means a trade contractor’s licence under the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Regulation 2018 . (sec.182-ssec.1) This section applies to a person conducting a business or undertaking that includes the performance of electrical work, other than electrical installation work. (sec.182-ssec.2) The person is taken to be the holder of an electrical contractor licence to the extent that performance of the electrical work is a necessary part of, or is incidental to, the performance of work under a trade contractor’s licence. (sec.182-ssec.3) In this section— trade contractor’s licence means a trade contractor’s licence under the Queensland Building and Construction Commission Regulation 2018 .
