sec.18 Cord extension sets and flexible cables
The person conducting the business or undertaking must ensure any cord extension set or flexible cable at the workplace is— located where it is not likely to suffer damage; or protected against damage. In this section— damage includes damage by liquid. Subsection (1) is linked to the electrical safety duty in section 30 of the Act (see section 7 (1) ). (sec.18-ssec.1) The person conducting the business or undertaking must ensure any cord extension set or flexible cable at the workplace is— located where it is not likely to suffer damage; or protected against damage. (sec.18-ssec.2) In this section— damage includes damage by liquid.
