sec.121 Sale of unsafe electrical equipment prohibited
A person must not sell an item of electrical equipment, other than high voltage equipment, unless the item complies with the safety criteria in AS/NZS 3820 (Essential safety requirements for electrical equipment) as in effect when the item was manufactured or imported. Maximum penalty—40 penalty units.
