sec.304 Existing applications for regulator’s declaration of scheme
This section applies if— before the commencement, a person applied under former section 167 for a declaration of a recognised external certification scheme; and immediately before the commencement, the application had not been decided. Former sections 167 and 168 continue to apply in relation to the application as if the amendment regulation had not been made. In this section— amendment regulation means the Electrical Safety and Other Legislation Amendment Regulation 2024 . former , for a provision of this regulation, means the provision as in force immediately before the commencement. s 304 ins 2024 SL No. 241 s 27 (sec.304-ssec.1) This section applies if— before the commencement, a person applied under former section 167 for a declaration of a recognised external certification scheme; and immediately before the commencement, the application had not been decided. (sec.304-ssec.2) Former sections 167 and 168 continue to apply in relation to the application as if the amendment regulation had not been made. (sec.304-ssec.3) In this section— amendment regulation means the Electrical Safety and Other Legislation Amendment Regulation 2024 . former , for a provision of this regulation, means the provision as in force immediately before the commencement.
