sec.135 Registration

A registered responsible supplier of a type of level 3 in-scope electrical equipment may register the type as level 3 in-scope electrical equipment. However, the registered responsible supplier is not eligible to carry out the registration if the responsible supplier is ineligible to do so under section 141 (3) . Each registration must relate only to a single type of level 3 in-scope electrical equipment. As part of the registration process, the registered responsible supplier must— identify a certificate of conformity applicable to the type of level 3 in-scope electrical equipment; and make the responsible supplier’s level 3 in-scope electrical equipment declaration under the equipment safety rules; and pay the registration fee. The declaration under the equipment safety rules must include the information mentioned in schedule 3 , part 3 . A relevant person must not, in registering or purporting to register a type of level 3 in-scope electrical equipment, give false information or make a false declaration. Maximum penalty for subsection (6) —40 penalty units.
