#### 31 Minister to provide information about battery electric vehicle registrations 31 Minister to provide information about battery electric vehicle registrations > > (1) As soon as practicable after the day that is 1 year after the commencement of this Act, and after each further period of 1 year, the Minister must give each house of Parliament an update of the following— > > > > > (a) the percentage of new vehicles registered during the preceding 1 year period that are battery electric vehicles, > > > > > (b) the date by which the Minister reasonably expects registrations of battery electric vehicles in New South Wales will be 30% of new vehicles registered in New South Wales. > > > (2) This section is repealed on the earlier of the following— > > > > > (a) 1 July 2027, > > > > > (b) the prescribed date under Schedule 1, definition of relevant date, paragraph (a).
