22 Public access to disclosures, expenditure etc

> > (1) The Electoral Commission is to publish on a website maintained by the Electoral Commission—
> >
> > > (a) the disclosures of reportable political donations and electoral expenditure under this Part, and
> >
> > > (b) any other information it considers relevant.
>
> > (2) The disclosures are to be published on the website as soon as practicable after the due date for the making of the disclosures.
>
> > (3) The Electoral Commission may decline to publish on the website, or may remove from the website, any disclosure of political donations or electoral expenditure that the Electoral Commission has reason to suspect is vexatious, false or misleading.
>
> > (3A) If a disclosure contains the residential address of a registered candidate or elected member, the Electoral Commission must—
> >
> > > (a) not publish the residential address on the website, and
> >
> > > (b) when providing a copy of the disclosure for inspection under subsection (4)—only provide a copy of the disclosure that does not include the residential address.

> > (3B) The Electoral Commission may modify a disclosure published on the website to remove the residential address of a donor who is or was an elected member or registered candidate.
>
> > (4) Copies of disclosures made in a declaration under this Part are to be kept by the Electoral Commission for at least 6 years after the period to which they relate and are to be available for public inspection during ordinary office hours.
>
> > (5) The Electoral Commission may, on application made to it and the payment of a reasonable fee determined by the Electoral Commission, provide copies of or extracts from any such disclosures kept by the Electoral Commission.
