#### 143 Offences relating to caps on donations and expenditure 143 Offences relating to caps on donations and expenditure (cf section 96HA EFED Act) > > (1) A person who does any act that is unlawful under Division 3 or 4 of Part 3 is guilty of an offence if the person was, at the time of the act, aware of the facts that result in the act being unlawful. > > > (2) A person who makes a donation with the intention of causing the donation to be accepted in contravention of Division 3 of Part 3 is guilty of an offence. > > Maximum penalty—400 penalty units or imprisonment for 2 years, or both.
