#### 127 Procedure for appointing or revoking appointment of official agents 127 Procedure for appointing or revoking appointment of official agents (cf section 46C EFED Act) > > (1) The appointment, or the revocation of the appointment, of an official agent is to be made by notice in writing to the Electoral Commission. > > > (2) The giving of a notice under this Division is to be in the manner and form approved by the Electoral Commission. > > > (3) A notice of the appointment of an official agent is not properly given unless it is accompanied by the signed acceptance of appointment of the person appointed. > > > (4) A person appointed to any office or position under the [Electoral Act 2017](/view/html/inforce/current/act-2017-066) is not eligible to be an official agent.
