Tasmania act
This Amendment Act updates the Electoral Disclosure and Funding Act 2023 by incorporating a set of amendments into the authorised version of that Act. It comes into force on the later of Royal Assent or 1 July 2025 and automatically repeals itself 365 days after all its provisions commence. The practical effect is to change the legal text that governs people and organisations covered by the Electoral Disclosure and Funding Act 2023 for a limited, time-bound period; the amendment details are not reproduced in this short Act.

This Act may be cited as the Electoral Disclosure and Funding (Donation Disclosure) Amendment Act 2025 .
This Act commences on the day on which this Act receives the Royal Assent, or 1 July 2025, whichever is the later.
In this Act, the Electoral Disclosure and Funding Act 2023 is referred to as the Principal Act.
