16 Person taken to be candidate for 30 days after polling day
(1) For the purposes of this Act, a person who is a candidate in relation to an election is taken to remain a candidate for 30 days after the polling day for the election.
(2) Subsection (1) does not apply to a candidate at a time when the candidate is a Member.
