#### 174 Scrutiny for statistical information 174 Scrutiny for statistical information > After the declaration that a candidate has been duly elected at an Assembly election, the Electoral Commissioner may, for the purpose of obtaining statistical information, make arrangements for the examination of the second and later preferences of candidates and for the distribution of those preferences in the manner specified by the Electoral Commissioner.
