35 Withdrawal of consent to nomination etc. (1) A nominee may withdraw consent to the nomination by giving written notice in the approved form to the Commission before 12 noon on nomination day. (2) The registered officer of a registered party may withdraw a nomination made by the officer by giving written notice in the approved form to the Commission before 12 noon on nomination day. (3) On receipt of a notice under subsection (1) or (2), the Commission must return the nomination deposit to the person who lodged it.
