175 No action under Part during election period During an election period for an election, no action may be taken under this Part in relation to the registration of a political party. Part 9A Registration of associated entities and third party campaigners Division 1 Application process for registration and related 175A Application (1) An associated entity may apply for registration under this Part. (2) A third party campaigner may apply for registration under this Part in relation to a particular election. (3) An application for registration must: (a) be made to the Commission in the approved form; and (b) state the full name and address of the associated entity or third party campaigner; and Electoral Act 2004 90 (c) include the information and be accompanied by the documents prescribed by regulation. (4) An application for registration by an associated entity must also: (a) state the name of the registered party that controls the entity or benefits from it; and (b) be signed by the reporting agent of that registered party.
