73 When election is required S. 73(1) substituted by No. 2/2003 s. 30. (1) An election must be held if— (a) there is more than one candidate for an election in a district; or (b) there are more than 5 candidates for an election in a region. (2) As soon as practicable after noon on the final nomination day, the election manager must at the election manager's office publicly display the names of the candidates for the election. (3) The election manager must advise the Commission of the names of the candidates for the election. S. 73A inserted by No. 2/2003 s. 31.
