224 Transitional provision—Local Government Amendment (Improved Governance) Act 2015—Electoral Reform Despite the commencement of section 93 of the **Local Government Amendment (Improved Governance) Act 2015**, this Act continues to apply to any election under the **Local Government Act 1989** or the **City of Melbourne Act 2001** before the next general election on 22 October 2016 as if the amendments made by section 93 of the **Local Government Amendment (Improved Governance) Act 2015** had not been made.
