222C Review of decision to issue notice (1) A person who is served with a notice under section 222B may request the Commission to review the decision of the compliance officer to issue the notice. (2) A request under subsection (1) must— (a) be in writing; and (b) be given to the Commission within 14 days of the day on which the notice was received. (3) The Commission must— (a) review the decision of the compliance officer to issue the notice; and (b) affirm, vary or set aside the decision; and (c) notify the person in writing of its decision on the review. (4) If a person requests a review of a decision, the person is not to be taken to have refused or failed to comply with the notice to which the review relates any time before the Commission has notified the person of its decision on the review.
