177H Voting to be by ballot (1) The voting at a referendum must be by ballot. (2) Each elector must mark the elector's vote on the ballot-paper— (a) if the elector approves of the Bill, by writing the word "YES" in the space provided; or (b) if the elector does not approve of the Bill, by writing the word "NO" in the space provided.
