56C Quorum
(1) At a meeting of the Board, a quorum is constituted by 6 Board members, one of whom must be either the Chair or the Deputy Chair. (2) However, if: (a) section 55J prevents a Board member from participating in the deliberations or decisions of the Board with respect to a particular matter; and (b) when the Board member leaves the meeting concerned there is no longer a quorum present; and (c) either the Chair or the Deputy Chair still remains at the meeting; the remaining Board members at the meeting constitute a quorum for the purpose of any deliberation or decision at that meeting with respect to that matter.
