sec.197 Refund of particular fees paid before commencement—external senior examination not taken because of illness

This section applies if— before the commencement a person was granted an application to take an external senior examination for an examination subject within the meaning of the expired regulation; and the person did not take the examination because of illness; and immediately before the commencement, the person had not made an application for refund of the fee under former section 167. The person may make an application under new section 166 within 1 month after the day of the examination. For this section, the reference in new section 166(1)(a) to an application under section 65 is taken to be a reference to an application under former section 58. (sec.197-ssec.1) This section applies if— before the commencement a person was granted an application to take an external senior examination for an examination subject within the meaning of the expired regulation; and the person did not take the examination because of illness; and immediately before the commencement, the person had not made an application for refund of the fee under former section 167. (sec.197-ssec.2) The person may make an application under new section 166 within 1 month after the day of the examination. (sec.197-ssec.3) For this section, the reference in new section 166(1)(a) to an application under section 65 is taken to be a reference to an application under former section 58.
