sec.55A Requirement for college to refer practice and conduct matter or authorise investigation
If QCAT continues the suspension of the approved teacher under section 49 , the college must, as soon as practicable— if the college reasonably believes the matter forming the basis of the suspension is a ground for disciplinary action against the approved teacher—refer a practice and conduct matter to the relevant practice and conduct body under section 97 ; or otherwise—authorise an investigation of the matter forming the basis of the suspension under section 98 . s 55A ins 2016 No. 46 s 39
- (a) if the college reasonably believes the matter forming the basis of the suspension is a ground for disciplinary action against the approved teacher—refer a practice and conduct matter to the relevant practice and conduct body under section 97 ; or
- (b) otherwise—authorise an investigation of the matter forming the basis of the suspension under section 98 .
