sec.321 Existing show cause procedure
This section applies if— before the commencement, the former board gave a provisionally registered teacher a notice under section 46 of the repealed Act; and the former board has not decided, before the commencement, whether to make the proposed order stated in the notice. The college must decide under the repealed Act whether to make the proposed order. For subsection (2)— the repealed Act continues to apply, with any necessary changes, as if it had not been repealed; and a reference in the repealed Act to the former board is taken to be a reference to the college; and a reference in the repealed Act to the director under that Act is taken to be a reference to the director under this Act. If the college decides to make the proposed order, the order has effect as if it had been made under section 47. (sec.321-ssec.1) This section applies if— before the commencement, the former board gave a provisionally registered teacher a notice under section 46 of the repealed Act; and the former board has not decided, before the commencement, whether to make the proposed order stated in the notice. (sec.321-ssec.2) The college must decide under the repealed Act whether to make the proposed order. (sec.321-ssec.3) For subsection (2)— the repealed Act continues to apply, with any necessary changes, as if it had not been repealed; and a reference in the repealed Act to the former board is taken to be a reference to the college; and a reference in the repealed Act to the director under that Act is taken to be a reference to the director under this Act. (sec.321-ssec.4) If the college decides to make the proposed order, the order has effect as if it had been made under section 47.
