sec.251 Filling vacancies—board members nominated by Minister or another entity etc.
This section applies if— a board member’s office becomes vacant other than because the member’s term of appointment has ended; and the member was nominated for membership— by the Minister under section 239 (1) (a) or (k) ; or by an entity or entities under section 239 (1) (b) to (i) . If the Minister considers it practicable to fill the vacancy before the end of the vacating member’s term of appointment, the person nominated to fill the vacancy must be appointed for the remainder of the vacating member’s term of appointment. (sec.251-ssec.1) This section applies if— a board member’s office becomes vacant other than because the member’s term of appointment has ended; and the member was nominated for membership— by the Minister under section 239 (1) (a) or (k) ; or by an entity or entities under section 239 (1) (b) to (i) . (sec.251-ssec.2) If the Minister considers it practicable to fill the vacancy before the end of the vacating member’s term of appointment, the person nominated to fill the vacancy must be appointed for the remainder of the vacating member’s term of appointment.
- (a) a board member’s office becomes vacant other than because the member’s term of appointment has ended; and
- (b) the member was nominated for membership— (i) by the Minister under section 239 (1) (a) or (k) ; or (ii) by an entity or entities under section 239 (1) (b) to (i) .
- (i) by the Minister under section 239 (1) (a) or (k) ; or
- (ii) by an entity or entities under section 239 (1) (b) to (i) .
- (i) by the Minister under section 239 (1) (a) or (k) ; or
- (ii) by an entity or entities under section 239 (1) (b) to (i) .
