#### 199 Modifications relating to National Authority and Regulatory Authorities 199 Modifications relating to National Authority and Regulatory Authorities > The Privacy Act applies as if it were modified so that— > > > (a) it applies only to agencies; and > > > (b) the agencies it applies to are— > > > > > (i) the National Authority; and > > > > > (ii) each Regulatory Authority of a participating jurisdiction; and > > > (c) a reference in the Act to the principal executive of an agency is taken to be a reference to— > > > > > (i) for the National Authority, the Chairperson of the Board of the National Authority; and > > > > > (ii) for a Regulatory Authority, the person nominated by the Regulatory Authority as the chief executive of the Regulatory Authority.
