#### 187 Prescribed form of identity card 187 Prescribed form of identity card > > (1) For the purposes of section 196(1) of the Law, an identity card is in the prescribed form if it— > > > > > (a) states the full name of the authorised officer; and > > > > > (b) states that the officer is authorised under section 195 of the Law; and > > > > > (c) is issued by the Regulatory Authority which authorised the officer; and > > > > > (d) states the date of the officer’s authorisation. > > > (2) An identity card may contain a photograph of the authorised officer. > > > (3) If an identity card does not contain a photograph of the authorised officer, the authorised officer must carry the following and produce it when showing the identity card under the Law or these Regulations— > > > > > (a) another form of photographic identification of the authorised officer; and > > > > > (b) a letter from the Regulatory Authority authorising the use of that form of photographic identification. > > > > Penalty: $1100. > > **Reg 187:** Am 2023 (399), reg 75.
