417 Child protection training
Despite regulation 128B(3), a person required to complete child protection training in accordance with regulation 128B, as inserted by the Education and Care Services National Amendment Regulations 2026, must complete the training before 27 August 2026 if the person was—
(a) employed, engaged or appointed immediately before the commencement of regulation 128B(3), or
(b) employed, engaged or appointed after the commencement of regulation 128B(3) and before 14 August 2026.
