194 Relationship with Act establishing administrative body This Part applies despite any provision to the contrary in the Act that establishes the relevant tribunal or court but does not otherwise limit that Act. Part 9—Monitoring and Enforcement Division 1—Authorised officers 195 Authorisation of authorised officers (1) The Regulatory Authority may authorise any person who the Regulatory Authority is satisfied is an appropriate person to be an authorised officer for the purposes of this Law. (2) In considering whether a person is an appropriate person to be an authorised officer, the Regulatory Authority must take into account the requirements for the authorisation of authorised officers determined by the National Authority under subsection (5). (3) An authorised officer holds office on any terms and conditions stated in the authorisation. (4) A defect in the authorisation of an authorised officer does not affect the validity of any action taken or decision made by the authorised officer under this Law. (5) The National Authority may determine the requirements for the authorisation of authorised officers under this section. (6) A determination under subsection (5) must be published on the website of the National Authority.
