175C Approved provider may authorise device for use in family day care services (1) An approved provider of a family day care service may authorise a device that is to be used by a person employed, engaged or appointed at the service exclusively for the purposes of providing education and care to children as part of that service. (2) In authorising a device under subsection (1), an approved provider must ensure that the device is configured to operate in accordance with any policies or procedures of the family day care service that relate to child safety or the security of devices.
