166 Offence to use inappropriate discipline Sch. s. 166(1) amended by Nos 43/2022 s. 68(1), 53/2025 s. 29(1). (1) The approved provider of an education and care service must ensure that no child being educated and cared for by the service is subjected to— Sch. s. 166(2) amended by Nos 9/2017 s. 39(1), 43/2022 s. 68(2), 53/2025 s. 29(2). (2) A nominated supervisor of an education and care service must ensure that no child being educated and cared for by the service is subjected to— Sch. s. 166(3) amended by Nos 43/2022 s. 68(3), 53/2025 s. 29(3). (3) A staff member of, or a volunteer at, an education and care service must not subject any child being educated and cared for by the service to— Sch. s. 166(4) amended by Nos 43/2022 s. 68(4), 53/2025 s. 29(4). (4) A family day care educator must not subject any child being educated and cared for by the educator as part of a family day care service to— Sch. s. 166A inserted by No. 53/2025 s. 79.
