163 Offence relating to appointment or engagement of family day care co-ordinators Sch. s. 163(1) amended by Nos 9/2017 s. 36, 43/2022 s. 64, 53/2025 s. 25. (1) The approved provider of a family day care service must ensure that at all times the prescribed minimum number of qualified persons are employed or engaged as family day care co‑ordinators of the family day care service— (a) to assist with the operation of the family day care service; and (b) to support, monitor and train the family day care educators of that service. (2) A person is a qualified person under this section if the person has the qualifications prescribed by the national regulations.
