142 Process for review (1) The person who conducts a review of rating levels for an approved education and care service for the Regulatory Authority must not be a person who was involved in the assessment or rating of the service. (2) The person conducting the review may ask the approved provider and any person who was involved in the assessment or rating of the service for further information. (3) A review under this section must be conducted within 30 days after the application for review is received. Sch. s. 142(4) substituted by No. 9/2017 s. 29. (4) The Regulatory Authority may extend the 30 day review period under subsection (3) in one of the following circumstances— (a) for an additional period of up to 30 days, if a request for further information is made under subsection (2); (b) for an additional period of up to 30 days, by agreement between the approved provider and the Regulatory Authority; (c) for an additional period of up to 60 days, where the Regulatory Authority considers there are special circumstances that warrant an extension of time to conduct the review.
