199 Qualifications of principal
[Section 199 Amended by No. 37 of 2017, s. 28, Applied:30 Aug 2017] A person may not be appointed as principal of a registered school providing compulsory education in accordance with Part 3 unless he or she –
(a) is a registered teacher, within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000 , who has full registration under that Act; and
(b) has any other qualification prescribed by the regulations.
