127 Appointment of chair and members If the Minister believes a person has experience or expertise relevant to an advisory committee, the Minister may appoint the person as— (a) the chair of the committee; or (b) a member of the committee. Note 2 In particular, an appointment may be made by naming a person or nominating the occupant of a position (see Legislation Act, s 207).
