#### 62 Sale of schools 62 Sale of schools > > (1) If a registered non-government school is sold, written notice of the sale is to be given by the purchaser to the Minister within 7 days after completion of the sale. > > > > Maximum penalty—5 penalty units. > > > (2) The unexpired portion of the school’s current period of registration, if greater than 6 months, is to be taken, for the purposes of this Act, to be 6 months only or such longer period (not exceeding the unexpired portion) as the Minister determines from the date of completion of the sale.
