#### 40 Approved authority for system of non-government schools 40 Approved authority for system of non-government schools > For the purposes of this Act, the approved authority for a system of non-government schools is the person or body who or which is appointed for the time being by— > > > (a) the proprietor or proprietors of the non-government schools, or > > > (b) the person or persons who propose to establish the non-government schools, > > to act on their behalf in relation to the system or proposed system.
