sec.70 Amendment

This section applies if, after considering the accepted representations for a show cause notice about the proposed amendment of a school’s accreditation, the board— still believes a ground exists to amend the school’s accreditation by removing or amending a relevant attribute of accreditation; and believes amendment of the school’s accreditation by removing or amending the relevant attribute of accreditation is warranted. This section also applies if there are no accepted representations for the show cause notice. The board may decide to amend the school’s accreditation by removing or amending the relevant attribute of accreditation. The board must, as soon as practicable, give an information notice about the decision to the school’s governing body. The decision does not take effect until— the last day to apply for a review of the decision; or if an application is made for a review of the decision—the day the application is decided or otherwise disposed of. • (a) still believes a ground exists to amend the school’s accreditation by removing or amending a relevant attribute of accreditation; and
• (b) believes amendment of the school’s accreditation by removing or amending the relevant attribute of accreditation is warranted.
• (a) the last day to apply for a review of the decision; or
• (b) if an application is made for a review of the decision—the day the application is decided or otherwise disposed of.
