233F Fire fighting and emergency response vehicle No duty is chargeable under this Chapter on an application for registration or transfer of registration of a vehicle that— (a) is owned by a State Emergency Service volunteer unit, a Country Fire Authority brigade or a municipal council; and (b) is registered or to be registered in the name of a nominee on behalf of the unit or brigade or in the name of a municipal council; and (c) is certified by the State Emergency Service or the Country Fire Authority as a vehicle that is specifically equipped for and exclusively used for combating outbreaks of fire or for emergency response.
