#### 8 Persons by and to whom fees payable 8 Persons by and to whom fees payable > > (1) Any fee charged under this Regulation for any document or service is payable to the registrar by— > > > > > (a) the person at whose request the document is filed or the service rendered, or > > > > > (b) a corporation or incorporated partnership on whose behalf a request is made to file a document or render a service. > > > (2) For the purposes of subclause (1), the fee specified in Schedule 1, Part 1, item 8 is taken to be payable by the person who filed the notice to produce referred to in that item. > > > (3) If a document is filed or a service rendered at the request of a person acting as an agent for another person, each of those persons is jointly and severally liable for payment of any fee. > > > (4) For the purposes only of subclause (3), a solicitor or other person by whom a person is carrying on proceedings is taken to be acting as an agent for that person. > > **cl 8:** Am 2022 (335), Sch 4\[4\].
