8 References in other Acts In any Act other than this Act and in any rule regulation or by-law made under any Act other than this Act— S. 8(a) repealed by No. 42/1993 s. 36. (b) a reference to a dangerous drug within the meaning of the **Poisons Act 1958** which was by virtue of section 3(3) of the **Poisons Act 1962** deemed to have been a reference to a specified drug within the meaning of the **Poisons Act 1962** shall, notwithstanding anything in section 3(3) of that Act, be deemed to be a reference to a drug of dependence within the meaning of section 4 of this Act.
