137 Transitional provisions—Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances (Amendment) Act 2001 (1) The amendments to this Act made by the **Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances (Amendment) Act 2001** apply only to offences alleged to have been committed after the commencement of that Act. (2) For the purposes of subsection (1), if an offence is alleged to have been committed between two dates, one before and one on or after the commencement of the **Drugs, Poisons and Controlled Substances (Amendment) Act 2001**, the offence is alleged to have been committed before the commencement of that Act. S. 138 inserted by No. 74/2004 s. 5.
