164 Sale or supply (1) In this section: prohibited substance does not include cannabis. (2) A person shall not— (a) sell or supply a drug of dependence to any person; or (b) participate in the sale or supply of a drug of dependence to any person; or (c) possess a drug of dependence for the purpose of sale or supply to any person. Maximum penalty: 500 penalty units, imprisonment for 5 years or (3) A person shall not— (a) sell or supply a prohibited substance to any person; or (b) participate in the sale or supply of a prohibited substance to any person; or (c) possess a prohibited substance for the purpose of sale or supply to any person. Maximum penalty: 500 penalty units, imprisonment for 5 years or (4) Subsection (2) does not apply if the person is authorised under the territory law, to sell or supply the drug of dependence. (5) Subsection (3) does not apply if the person is authorised under the territory law, to sell or supply the prohibited substance.
