7 General conditions of licence—the Act, s 59(2)(j)

(1) A driving instructor must not give driving instruction for a class of motor vehicles unless the instructor holds a driver licence for the class of vehicles.

(2) The holder of a restricted licence must not act as a driving instructor for the holder of a learner licence.

(3) In this section—

learner licence has the same meaning as in the Road Transport Act 2013.

restricted licence has the same meaning as in the Road Transport Act 2013.
