68 Exemptions from owner-builder restrictions on sale S. 68(1) amended by No. 15/2016 s. 10(1). (1) A person may apply to VCAT to have a building exempted from the operation of section 137B of the **Building Act 1993**. S. 68(2) amended by No. 15/2016 s. 10(2). (2) VCAT may exempt a building from the operation of section 137B of the **Building Act 1993** if it is satisfied that— (a) there are exceptional circumstances; or (b) full compliance with section 137B is impossible or would cause undue hardship.
