61 Who can ask VCAT to review an insurer's decision? S. 61(1) amended by Nos 52/1998 s. 40(a), 26/2001 s. 16(3), 37/2016 s. 4(4), 15/2016 s. 10(1). (1) Any person whose interests are affected by a decision of an insurer with respect to anything arising from any required insurance under the **Building Act 1993** that covers a builder in relation to domestic building work may apply to VCAT for a review of the decision. S. 61(2) amended by No. 52/1998 s. 40(b). (2) If the decision contains a direction that must be complied with within 27 days of the date the person receives notice of the decision, the application must be made before the date the decision must be complied with. S. 61(3) amended by No. 52/1998 s. 40(b). (3) In all other cases, the application must be made within 28 days of the date the person receives notice of the decision.
