47B Extension or cancellation of stop work notice (1) If the chief dispute resolution officer considers that it is appropriate to do so, the chief dispute resolution officer may, by written notice given to the builder, extend the period that a stop work notice has effect for a further period not exceeding 30 days. (2) A notice under subsection (1) may vary the requirements in the stop work notice. (3) The chief dispute resolution officer may cancel a stop work notice at any time by written notice given to the builder. S. 47C inserted by No. 15/2016 s. 6.
