84R Council may require owner of animal to provide current address If a Council authorised officer reasonably suspects that an owner of a dog seized under this Part has committed an offence set out in paragraph (a), (b), (ba), (bb) or (c) of section 84Q(2) and the Council does not have sufficient information about the owner to enable it to commence prosecution for the offence, the Council may require, in the notice of seizure, that the owner provide his or her current address to the Council within 14 days after service of that notice.
