#### 25 Sheriff and Sheriff’s officers 25 Sheriff and Sheriff’s officers > > (1) The Sheriff shall have and may exercise the functions conferred or imposed on the Sheriff by this Act and the rules. > > > (2) Unless the rules provide otherwise, the Sheriff may delegate to any Sheriff’s officer any of the Sheriff’s functions under this Act, except this power of delegation. > > > (3) Subject to the rules, the Sheriff and any Sheriff’s officers to whom functions are delegated shall exercise their functions under this Act in accordance with any orders and directions given by a Judge. > > **s 25:** Subst 1988 No 20, Sch 4 (1).
