18FC Acting Judicial Registrars
(1) If there is a vacancy in the office of Judicial Registrar, or a Judicial Registrar is absent from duty, the Minister may appoint a person who is qualified for appointment as a Judicial Registrar to act in the position of Judicial Registrar for the period of the vacancy or absence from duty.
(2) A person appointed under subsection (1) has, for the period of the appointment, all the entitlements, powers, authorities, functions and duties of a Judicial Registrar and, for that period, is taken to be a Judicial Registrar.
